After reading a long discussion on this on another forum, I settled on getting a breakway collar for Eddie to wear around the house and a regular collar when he's in obedience. But the only breakaway collars I could find were cat collars, and they all seemed to "break" too easily. I was afraid after a little bit of wear they'd just fall off and be useless. Does anybody have any experience with cat collars on Yorkies?

Another suggestion the other site had was little nylon cases to hold dog tags, regardless of what kind of collar you use. By the time you get a city license, a name tag and a vet tag, that's a lot of metal jangling around that could get caught in something. That makes sense, but I haven't been able to find one.
