Gus sleeps in a crate at night. In my room, I put the crate on the floor next to my side of the bed and when my husband leaves for work at 2:30 I pick the crate up and put it on his side. In the summer months,,, I sometimes sleep down stairs because it's way cooler. We have one of those couch and chase sectional. So his crate is right above my head. I started this when he was a puppy because he was so tiny, and I was scared of rolling over on him. Now that he is full grown. He stood very small. (2.9 lbs) but I feel he is much begger then when he was a puppy, and I want him to sleep with me, but he loves it in his crate and feels so comfie with his warm soft blanket in the crate. He will take naps with me but at night he has to be in his crate. Mybe a crate next to you will help.
