Yeah, I've always done that, so I was surprised to see special products on the market like pill pockets. I was thinking it was just a gimmick until my wife came home with a prescription for Rusty and some pill pockets. Evidently, she liked the idea.

According the Greenies, the cool thing about their pill pockets is they are low cal. And since most pets are overweight, they figure these will help control the problem. I initially didn't see the harm in stuffing them in a piece of cheese or some wet food, but I suppose if a small dog is taking a couple different kinds of pills a couple times a day, calories might be a concern.
