Yes, I agree that vets MAY be (or may NOT be) wonderful people and that they are trained basically for "animals in general" and I understand that what's good for dogs in general isn't necessarily good for Yorkies as they are much smaller and have other issues that may influence their vet care and it's delivery. Which is why I always check here first before I do much of anything with mine

I have checked out the qualifications of the vets who work here and I think that being a former Helen Woodward Veterinarian is a very good sign. I'm not a total numbskull and cavalier with my dog's care. Nor with any of my other animals care; I'm accustomed to having exotic pets, so no vet care is ever "animals in general" with me.
The doubts I've got are regarding the vaccination scheduling, since I've never had any dog other than Max before and he got all his shots when he was a puppy. This dog is an adult.
And after having been there, they are extremely flexible. They told me I can have the rabies when I feel comfortable having it done
