I don't suggest changing her food now because the last thing you need is a sick mommy. I personally feed Merricks. If you check the nutrition threads there is a chart that shows the top quality foods. Then the trick is to find the one in your area.
I feed Merricks. Another good one is Chicken Soup, Wellness, Orijen. There are some others but I can't think of them off hand.
I am not a fan of science diet and while I take recommendations from my vet I also take it with a grain of salt. Vets offices tend to get some incentives from companies for carrying their products. Can you believe my vet had recommended Eukanuba...lol. When you look for a food also look for something that doesn't have corn. Corn causes allergies.
