When I had my last little one I put off doing her teeth and she got an abcess and had to go in as an emergency and then I didn't have a chance to find the vet I wanted to do it so it's best to find someone and get it done. Sorry so long. They used Isoflurane and propfol to intubate her. The only other anesthesia I know of that's safe is Sevofluranne(sp?) There are some vets who will clean them without putting them under completely but I haven't found one around here. Good luck. Just remember in my opinion all the brushing in the world won't clean thier teeth once they are dirty. I brush like a mad woman and use petzlife and although it does slow down the tartar buildup it still happens

I just realized that you live in PA. If you don't mind could you let me know where you took Feather? Making the drive is no problem. Thanks
