Our vet palpatted her abdomen on her 30th day and said he felt 2 babies for sure, but of course there could be more.

Anyway, since she was 5 lbs. at the time she was bred, I am feeding her 3 meals a day to make sure that she is getting the right nutrition. My breeder and vet said that is what they recommend. Pre-preg. she was spoiled and given little nibbles of whatever we were eating. She loves fruit, like bananas, grapefruit, and of course whatever meat we were eating. Anyway, lately instead of looking sweet and waiting for us to give her treats, she has started demanding them. She growls at me when I'm cooking and barks and growls at us when we are eating until she gets something. Sometimes she acts franctic to grab whatever we are offering her. I'm concerned that she really is not getting enough to eat from her 3 meals of kibbles. (Science diet)

I am also trying to make sure that she does not get over weight since I know that can cause problems at delivery.

I started giving her a little bit of nutrical once a day just to give her a little boost with this pregnancy.

Anyway, do you think I should up her # of feedings, add something to her kibble, or just continue doing what I've been doing?

First I would change her diet "science diet" is junk IMHO you would be better served with a well balanced puppy food. Fruits and veggies are good for them just omit grapes or raisins and anything with seeds....two weeks before whelping add a bit of wet puppy food into her dry servings for added nutrician..and continuing feed this through weaning to the mom.

good luck
