I think I'd get a second opinion.
Ellie teeth needed to be cleaned and were but it is time for it again and they don't need it. The vet wouldn't tell me she has to have it done just because.
If you don't see any brown and if they aren't loose, I would be suspicious.
By the way, Petzlife doesn't work well at all for some dogs.
