The breeder that we got Abby from gave us a "hoof", it is a bone that is shaped just like a hoof and both the girls love it! Abby chewed on it when she weighed 1.5 lbs, so I'm sure Pia could chew on it. She told me we could get them at Rural King, PetSmart and online at UPCO pet supplies, Revival Pet Supplies or Jeffers Pet Supplies. They last forever!
I also remember the breeder telling me about her vet and she liked how he put her dogs under. He put them in a glass tank, like an aquarium type thing and gave them a little gas, he could wake them up immediately by removing the gas? At least I think that's what she said. I can ask her if you like. It's been a few months ago since she told me. I think I'm going to take Abby to her vet to have her spayed instead of mine, because mine likes to keep them overnight and I'm unsure of the anesthesia. I'm sure my vet won't be happy with me but,....oh well.
