 Taping Yorkies Ears
She has tried to tape the ears a couple of times but the tape never stays in for more than a day and the ears end up flopping back down. By what age do they need to be taped by to stand up? Do some dogs have ears that are too thick to stand up even if taped? I don't think it will really make a difference to her if the ears end up staying floppy because they are cute too- she just wanted her puppy to have the typical "yorkie" look with the ears that go up. She asked the vet if she should tape them and she basically told her not to bother because she was not a purebred and they probably would not go up anyway. I think she will be looking for a new vet too! Thanks for all the great stories everyone has shared about their experiences with larger yorkies! |
