I wish I could take credit for it, but it was vet's suggestion
But, it had made a huge difference in the ability to make sure I get to all the teeth and all around the back ones. And the added benefit is they don't fight like they did with the brush. And you can see the stuff that comes off on the guaze as well. You can actually use your finger nail to scrap (with the gauze over top) where you see really bad areas.
I do know with the PetzLife that you're not supposed to use it every day after the original 30 days. I have seen some other threads about another dental product that others recommend, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is. I believe I've also read threads about adding apple cider vinegar to their water to also help with the teeth and breath. And I've seen some other products sold at the pet store you can add to their water as well.
