Welcome to YT! I will try to answer your questions.
1. Yorkies come in all shapes and sizes. The AKC Yorkshire Terrier breed standard says "under 7 pounds". I believe they need to be at least 4 pounds to show them, so the show standard is 4-7 pounds. Yes, there are 2 pound yorkies out there, but any breeder who uses the wording "teacups" or "tinies" is a red flag to stay away from them. They are purposely breeding for a smaller size to charge more money. There are also 15 pound yorkies out there or "teapots" as some say.
2. A Silky Terrier is a different breed all together. They look similar, but they are larger. Now, this may be confusing, but Yorkies have a "silky" coat. That is just how they are described.
3. Yorkies are born black and tan as puppies. As adults, they are supposed to be steel blue (looks gray) and gold (or blonde). Of course, some are lighter, and darker. There are also Chocolate yorkies, which are infact not breed standard (they are mostly brown). There are also parti-colored yorkies that contain some white (which is also not to the standard).
I hope this helps!!
