pebbles was this way at first. she didnt want to be in the pin... but at the same time.. she didnt want to leave her pups. she would run out of the pen... go lay down somewhere then 2 seconds later pop back up... run back over to the pups. if i locked her in she would just sit there and wine. she didnt go to the bathroom the first day after having her pups... and would only eat chicken that i hand fed her. :-/ about a week she sompletely changed and seems much mre comfortable and confident.
