 Changing Diet
I was wondering if anyone could give advice on changing Samson's food. The breeder had him on Puppy Chow and I continued that so as not to upset his system. However, my vet suggested a lamb and rice food for his coat and skin. I bought Nutro Lamb and Rice puppy food and started by mixing the puppy chow and the lamb and rice. He will pick out all the puppy chow and leave the Nutro. Yesterday, after he had picked out the puppy chow and left the lamb and rice, I didn't add any more puppy chow to see if he would finally eat it. No luck! So this morning, I relented and gave him puppy chow because he hadn't eaten anything.
Tell me how I can make the switch, if possible, without starving the poor baby.
