Just a question for those who have fed Merrick.
I have switched Koda & Kammie from Canidae ALS to Merrick The 1st bag of Merrick was the Turkducken. This time I bought the Puppyplate. They love it, but it seems that they are both gaining weight on it? Koda is 1yr 2mos & Kammie is 7mos. I thought at first it was just Kammie going through a growth spurt but then I weighed Koda and he gained to. Koda gets 1/3 cup 2x's a day and Kammie 1/4 cup 2x's a day. Also treats in between but they are limited to small amounts. It is not unusual for them to leave kibble in their dish when they are full and walk away either. So I don't feel that I am over/under feeding them. Also I noticed their stools have been fewer then on Canidae. Still at least once a day but not several like on Canidae. They have water available 24/7.
Any thoughts?
