I found this saying

Instead, we should respect dogs' rights as living beings by honoring their instincts and sexuality and provide them with safe, effective birth control." to be pretty crazy. Sterilizing your dog before the age of one year or, in the case of a female before the first heat, pretty much does away with the chance of uterine and prostate cancer. If you are breeding or showing that's one thing, but if you have a pet dog I think sterilization is the best answer.
I'm not sure if that ad is for real either!
