Suzi will be fine. I have gotten yorkies at the following ages... 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks, and 15 weeks. Honestly I saw no differences in them. All were healthy and very well adjusted.
6 weeks is very very young. I personally wouldn't take a pup away from his mommy at that young age. Watch him like a hawk...soley because of his age and it he's really small...make sure he eats frequently.
