Thanks Cricket! I'm gonna show my bf this thread when I get back into town (I'm visiting my parents in NJ)! The disc giving him the problem is actually his L5 too. He talked to him earlier today and he said he has an appointment on Friday with his dad's back surgeon. So we'll see what he says and then figure out what to do next. Thanks for sharing your story!!! I'm glad you're feeling great now. Hopefully he has you're luck, I can't imagine he being in this pain for the rest of his life. It's horrible watching him try to get up and walk.
