If this happened to my pup, I would NOT be happy. I would talk to the older vet. If nothing changes, I would leave. I would not wait for something serious happen to my baby and have a misdiagnosis.
My breeder actually, had to have a c-section for one of her moms recently. Momma was 2 years old and this was her first litter (and the one my new baby is from!!). The c-section was late at night and her vet was not available, so another vet from the practice preformed the surgery. Well, about 4 weeks after, momma seemed very lethargic and not herself. My breeder took momma into the vet and (same vet who did the surgery) said she was just constipated. Well, even after momma went potty she was still acting sick, so she called her regular vet and met him at the office. He took some blood work and turned out she had a staff infection so bad they had to put her down.
