If you stick around long enough, you will learn that the title of your thread it very provocative. Saying the teacup word is similar to using a swear word and using the word breeding with the word teacup is similar to a very BIG swear word. It's actually kind of funny, but people get worked up using those words. The Yorkshire Terrier only has one classification and that’s the toy group and standard is anything below 7 pounds. Poodles have 3 classifications, as you many know, which are standard, miniature and toy. The word t-cup came about with poodles and they were referring to the toy group. It isn't used officially with poodles either, and some people are upset because of the tendency to breed smaller and smaller dogs catering to people who want purse puppies and fashion accessories. Some people do breed 4-pound dogs, but it depends on other things such as body structure. I'm no breeder so I can't tell you much more than that. I just want to ask that you give us a second chance. You will learn a lot, and I hope we will learn something too.
