i am no help if your pup is still doing a series of puppy shots because Layla is done that. However we just went for our 2 year booster. Layla did not get the Lepto shot as it is not recommended in dogs under 11 lbs. Layla has had serious reactions in the past and i feel they are due to her getting Lepto (I was not as informed in the past) The vet has marked on her records that should she come in vomiting that the first thing they will test her for is Lepto. She also did't get her Bordetella combo vaccine (i think it also had somethign to to with a flu shot or something like that) because Layla has had the shot in the past and she has also had Bordetella so i felt that the shot wasn't needed since she's been vaccinated against it yet has caught it. The vet also marked that on her file and should she need to stay over for surgery or something she will be put in a private room since she has not been vaccinated (works for me!). it is so important to be informed on what vaccines you vet plans on giving and what you want your pup to get. She got her booster shot and her rabies which is law here but she will only need to get them every 3 years.
