I haven't used either of those products, but I do regularly use an ear cleaner called Dr. Gold's Extra Gentle Ear Therapy on both girls every time they get a bath (which is at least once every other week), You basically squirt it in the ear canal, massage the ear a bit and just wash them as normal. It "cleans, disinfects and deodorizes" and "treats infections and fungus".
When I first got Sissy, my vet recommended using an ear cleaner regularly because Yorkies are susceptible to ear issues.

After I use up all of this ear cleaner, I will definitely try some of the one that you mentioned - it sounds wonderful! Do you know where to order it online? Or, I can just do a search
The stuff that I have now from the vet I have to use once daily for one week, then twice per week and every time (after) she has her bath. And the other stuff (the gel stuff in the tube) I have to do the same with - well, until it's gone that is. This one is an antibiotic that treats infections, so it isn't used all the time like the ear cleaner is.
