That's exactly how Lucy is! She's eating Iams proactive for toy dogs. She and Rebel eat out of the same bowl, so I put 1 cup out in the morning and 3/4 cup out when I get home from work. I know a lot of people don't like Iams, but it works for us and Lucy isn't having any allergic reactions like she was from some of the other foods I tried.

My son is usually here during the day and he's under strict orders NO HUMAN FOOD. Her vet said the worst thing I could do was to give her treats from the table, and that's what was happening. It was hard at first because she's a little beggar, but now she knows she's not getting any and the weight is coming off.

Also, when we go outside, we play hard. I take balls and other toys to throw for them to fetch and they chase each other like crazy.
