Now you requested the other vet do the surgery and the fact that the younger was doing it wouldn't have set well with me at all.

They should be able to tell the difference in teeth and he should have been suspicious because you said you didn't see any of them come in.
Yes, I would call the older vet and if my dog had to go under again to get teeth removed (which I would be very upset about), the older vet better be doing it and the anesthesia and surgery time better be free. |
I've always been asked which vet I want to have. Fortunately I've always gotten the one that I have requested. I don't know how I would handle if it didn't go this way. I think you have every right to question the older vet about this. This affects his practice and he needs to listen to his clients.
