Ok, so I've been having problems with toby. he's never fully been housebroken, (still pees and poos on the carpets occasionally.) but now he's gotten into the habit where he poo's in my bed when we sleep at night. It happened once, and i thought it was a fluke. so he slept in his crate for a few weeks. then when i thought the coast was clear, i put him in my bed again to sleep. it happened again.
in a 1 1/2 years, he's never done this.. now twice in a month.
I take him out at midnight, i'll walk him before bed till forever, and he just doesn't want to poo. he eats in the morning, and no later than 6pm everynight
crate training doesn't really work on him, because he will pee and poo in his crate. what should i do? is this a medical problem? pyschological? am i not being consistant enough with him? is it my fault? is he banned to sleep in his crate forever?
This makes me sooo sad, because i love toby as a child, but i can't get him trained so i feel like i can trust him to not make mistakes. i'm frustrated!!
