My baby got a tick on him the other day, he was laying on the sidewalk sorta close to the grass. I've never seen a tick before till then, I thought it was dirt till I touched it with my finger and it started moving. I got some tweezers and pulled it off also pulling some hair in the process.
I called my vet right away and they just told me to wash the area with anti bacterial soap and keep an eye on him. If the area turns red, gets swollen etc, change in his behavior get him to the vet a.s.a.p for some antibiotics.
He ended up being ok, but I was ready to rush him to the vet with the slightest change
