I've never had to re-home one of mine but can imagine it must be really tough. It sounds like she will be going to a wonderful home so that has to be reassuring. I believe they are more adaptable than we sometimes think, especially since she is younger. That you'll get the opportunity to see her should give you something to look forward to. I know this does little to make it better but try to stay positive and don't beat yourself up about it. You made a hard decision that is her best interest too.
