Hello & Welcome to YT! Your little Suzi will adjust well over the next few days. My lil pup was the same way. He was very shy and unsure of everything for the first several days.....at least you got her to go to the bathroom. My pup didn't do that for quite awhile & that started to concern me. So she is off to a good start. Keep her close to you as much as possible and like the others said...lots of praise. She will identify you as her mom by your voice and smell and she will begin to cling to you very closely. Do you have other pets? A cat perhaps? My pup took to my cat as his four legged brother although it took the cat quite a bit longer to warm up to the puppy but they are great buds now. Also, for socialization, I recommend a puppy kindergarten class....my vet provided one for pups that had not finished their puppy vaccinations with the supervision of a vet but I also know that PetsMart has great classes after you complete her series of puppy shots. Best of luck & Congratulations!!!
