My mom used to say..."It might not hurt me but it could cause me to hurt myself" and I totally inderstand that. I have hurt myself trying to get away from a bug or get one off of me...especially spiders.

When I was a child, I was afraid of no bug, no lizard, no snake. In fact, we used to take the 'shells' that these cicadas shed...you could squeeze the top of the back and the legs would open up. You could then put it on your nose, stop squeezing and it would sorta clamp lightly to your nose. Then you popped up in someone's face like that and it sure scared the heck out of the ladies!

These days....I can't stand the thought of a bug on me. My granddaughter catches those big moths and takes them around the house somewhere else so her G'ma won't be scared. Sweet!

I don't know of any advice I could give you to help you cope with these things. Maybe buy a beekeeper suit. And a mini one for your baby. (JK) LOL

Actually, my heart goes out to you. I know how distressed you must be. I would be too!!
