This very small yorkie, I think is right now, timid. She has not eaten yet either, and does not seem to be too playful YET .I think it is because of the new enviroment.
i did take her outside and she went potty. Both, 1 and 2 . She seems alert, clear eyed, too. She just wants to kick back though. IS that normal for a new pup? Is it just because this is all new to her? Any suggestions on how to help her feel , more at ease?
She is round, and not thin at all and looks very healthy. I am a nervous, NEW puppy owner. Any help on how I can not worry? LOL . She is so cute.
This little pup has had her first couple of shots and has been wormed. We named her Suzi.
How exciting! Congratuations on your new family addition. I suggest you purchase a book on Yorkies. Additionally, if you purchased Suzi from a reputable breeder, the breeder should be able to give you suggestions and guidance. Puppies are similar to babies where they sleep, eat and go to the bathroom for the first few months. Puppies play and tire easy. Praise Suzi a lot when she does her job outside. I always provided treats as an incentive for doing their job outside; in fact, I still give treats to my Tara and Cody when they "do their job" outside. I am so proud of them! I have had Yorkies for over 20 years and could not image life without them around my home.

Best of luck to you and your family on your new addition. I am so exicted for you!!
