So what if he was "addicted", I hate that he is using that as a crutch. EVERYTHING in life is a choice, he could have gotten help, he could have stopped at any time, but he chose not to. He would have gotten more sympathy if he lied and said he didnt know he was doing anything wrong. People have more sympathy for ignorance. Once you realize you have an addiction, its your job to get help. You are accountable at that point.
