It is VERY hard finding a good home for a pit bull. I work at a shelter and most people who want that breed are not people we would adopt one too. We can't adopt them anyway but we use rescues. You can try rescues but there are a lot of bad ones. Good luck, I would definately spay her first, get personal and vet references and do a home visit. I would ask for a $200 rehoming fee. That will weed out some of the people who would want her for the wrong reasons. Nobody should ever give a pit bull away for free or cheap. Well any dog for that matter unless you really know a person.
