Grrrrrr, I chopped in half yet another cutting board yesterday!!!!

It's not like I'm trying to hack a buffalo carcass in half; just dismembered a whole chicken....my poultry shears are fine, just getting faster results with the cleaver!
The cleaver that I'm using is just a run of the mill kind (Farberware $9 @ Walmart) and it keeps breaking my polythyrene cutting boards! Because it's a cheap one, it might not be balanced right

I am seriously thinking about investing in a wooden chopping block, which I KNOW will hold up to the job!
Oh, on the flip side; hubby has a client who's the head butcher at a local grocery store. This very nice man (my new best friend, lol) is bringing us a big bag full of goodies this afternoon and I'm soooo grateful! Thank Goodness, I have an extra freezer!!! I'm hoping to score some nice lamb meat and organs as this can get pricey!

Jeez, I'm starting to feel like a meat hoarder, rofl.
