It really doesn't matter what it is, as long as there is a constant load on the tissues, it will cause a problem over the long term.

It is not a natural state of breathing, when there is reversing sneezing or coughing; doesn't matter; this is an out of balance condition (an indication thereof).

That makes sense...because any chronic condition wears away at the natural resources of the body, weather it is a dog or a human.
