I had a chuckle when I read the posting about using a bottle with coins in it to deter behavior.
Our little guy is just over 4.5 months and nips quite a bit. We tried the bottle with stuff inside to make a loud sound. He freaking loves it! In our house if we shake a bottle with coins or whatever inside he will run from wherever he is in the house and want it. One day he got the bottle and he tore the bottle apart within 15 mins! So there went that idea for us. We are working on the nipping by saying no then ignoring and if that doesnt work he gets a time out. Timeouts have worked for accidents in the home as well as humping.
