Tessa has no problem being groomed but she hates having a band put in her head. I actually put a treat on my boobs and get her to rest her head there while I do her topknot.
I works really well, and I got the idea from a book where the Yorkie was resting her head on a rolled up towel while she had her topknot put in. Having her on my lap makes it easier for me.
