Ok, no Petco, only Petsmart. I will go to there site and see what brands they have that would be good for her and her skin.
Poop eating. There is no real definite answer as to why and there is no definite way to stop it. There are things that work for some but not for others.
So hopefully #1 the new food will stop it, but just to maybe help it along, I would go out to the Super Market and in the spice isle, buy the product ACCENT - this is suppose to help make the poop taste bad (as if it's not bad enough). What you do is sprinkle some ontop of her daily food. It may take a few days, and you may have to do for a week or 2, but hopefully it will stop it. I know this works for a number of dogs.
But be prepared that you may have to deal with this, b/c if she is left alone for long periods of time, this may have started out of boredom and it may be a hard habit to break. I have 2 that are 3.5 yrs and we are still battling this nasty habit.
