They didn't do the surgery on my aunt Thursday.
She got full blown shingles on her lower part of her back. The nurses didn't document it on her file,
and her doctor was livid! He totally went off on them, because they didn't document it. So therefore, he didn't know she had shingles. He told them instead of sending her home the other day they could have had her on some antibotics to take care of the infection. So, now we are having to wait until they get the infection gone before they can do the surgery. He said it could be anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks. They have her in some kind of drying room and giving high doses of antibotics.
I told my cousin maybe they didn't know she had it. She said yes the nurses did know, they are the ones that gave her the cream to put on her lower back.
