I bought a little chopper from Bed Bath and Beyond and I puree raw veggies: carrots, celery, yellow squash and zucchini, and the MAGIC trick to mine eating veggies is Green Bell Pepper! I think they really like the smell and taste so, I make sure that I puree enough green pepper in their mixture.

Mine can not have brown rice anymore so I give egg noodles instead, maybe try that or, when I did feed brown rice, I would let it sit in the fridge for a day to get out the moisture, but then I would puree the rice too, so it's was 'finer' and they could not pick it out. I also puree meat, again, so they can't pick it out.

Best of luck!

Mine poop 3 to 4 times eating homecooked.
