I was afraid he would get very hot on the beach with his 'full' coat especially since it is still black. I watched the videos on grooming (very good actually) she said to use a 1 1/2" comb. It doesn't look like it takes off too much hair. Not only the heat but the sand and everything his coat will grab hold of. I just bathed him and pulled out a ton of grass, oak thingies and green balls with a few leaves mixed it. He rolls in these weeds that stick in his hair and I spend a lot of time pulling this stuff out.

I would show pictures of him but I don't know how. Any advice on that would be appreciated also.
