Welcome to you and Rambeau. Sorry to hear of the loss of your other babies. I have had Yorkies since 1970 and most of them were lap dogs, I have had both males and females and didn't find much difference in the sexes. They so settle down eventually and he may become more of a lap dog. I have 3 right now and one is a lap dog but only to my daughter and one is not and my 7 month old puppy is a real snuggler. All of mine are females. As far as grooming with 4 dogs now I started grooming them myself and Cali my cottony coat one goes to a groomer every 3-4 months for a good groom, but only to someone I trust. I just comb, brush and trim the best I can annd I fugure it will grow back. Have fun at the beach! |
