I am thinking of taking my baby Jack to a dog behaviorist. He is 10 months old and listens well inside but when we got out he ignores me. I have only had Jack a little over a month. He is very vicious to other dogs (big dogs) when we go outside and I am afraid for his safety. He lived in the country and was never socialized with other dogs. I am afraid if we got to a training class like at Petco he would not behave long enough to learn anything. I also have a 10 week old baby girl named Mia. If I can learn from this person I will be better able to teach Mia. This person gives private lessons for $100.00. This is for 6 one hour classes. It is basic obedience training and she said if we have time we can work on other issues too. She told me to write down anything I wanted to work on and bring it to the first class.
