My one piece of advice would be for you not to get frustrated. Have fun, and make sure she has fun. You won't see any great successes during class. Where she'll learn most is when you practice at home in the week between classes.

Success comes in tiny steps. It may not seem like she's learning anything until the class is over and you realize she's walking better on a leash.
