Okay, I went and did it! I bought the Shark steam mop from Target, and used it for the first time yesterday on both hardwood floors and tile - and it worked great! Here's something I noticed, on the outside of the box it said you could use just plain tap water, but on the inside of the box, there was a label that "suggested" only distilled water be used. Maybe that's the key? Anyway, I will be sure and keep you all updated! Thanks again for all the replies!
