I'm glad to hear he's at the vet's. Did you happen to take a stool sample? At that weight I doubt he had a hypoglemic episode. It's possible he has coccidea or guardia though. Puppies are more prone to suffer from these two illnesses and sometimes the stress of a new home contributes to their resistance.
