Hi and welcome to Yorkie Talk. There are so many of us here who have Yorkie's who have no fear at all. For such little fragile babies that they are they sure think they can fly.
I am so sorry your little Hunter was hurt, that is so scary! As your vet said just remain what you are doing and watch him like a hawk. Keep a watch to make sure he continues to eat/drink, etc.
Keep us posted on how Hunter is doing and if you see any signs at all that he isn't acting the same Id bring him into to your vet.
