Ok, I have two male yorkies. They are total opposites in every way, except that they both LOVE toys. They have
over a hundred toys, but they both ALWAYS want the SAME toy. They don't fight, but Jake will get a toy, Jackson will drop the one he has, and go after Jake's. Or, it's the other way around, with Jake taking Jackson's toy.
It doesn't even matter if they have the same identical toy!! For instance, they both love rope toys. I just bought them each a new one, but of course, they both only want the one!!
We have Hide-A-Squirrel, and when we're playing fetch, I can take all three squirrels and toss them, and they will both ALWAYS come back with ONE.

(I think I even remember a video of someone's yorkies on YT who did this.) It's cute and it's funny, but I don't get it. They do this same thing with bully sticks. Each will have their own and will be sitting so quietly, then one will get the idea that maybe the other one's tastes better.
Do your yorkies do this? I have been trying to work with them and would love suggestions!
ETA: My husband says that's just the way they play.
