The man who hit Rex did stop, and apparently, he is paying for Rex's surgery because he feels so bad about it. I think he is the one who talked her into taking him to the vet. He seemed like a nice man, and he was very upset about hitting Rex. But, it wasn't his fault. The way it happened, I don't see how he could have avoided it.
Although I don't understand how she could NOT want to take him, I'm so glad she finally did and that Rex is going to be okay.  |
God bless that man for having a heart and making her do the right thing. Poor rex. Hope he heals fast. He might want to run away and go live with the man. I don't care how hard of a day his mamma was having she should have done better for him.
