 Insulted
I know it is probably a cultural thing but I was really insulted by a co-worker yesterday. He is from an eastern country.
I have been on a diet but have only lost 10lbs so far. I have also been sick for the past few months with some as yet undiagnosed illness that causes me to have periodic spells of anemia, nausea and weak muscles. I will be the first to admit that it shows on my face. Anyway he looked at me and in front of a bunch of men said "Are you loosing weight? Your face looks loose. It does not look as good." One of the guys tried to cover up with a joke by calling him a smooth talker but it hurt my feelings none the less. |
