Although I know just about everyone will disagree with me, dogs MAY be able to eat cat food.
Cats cannot eat dog food long-term because there are less nutrients in it and dog food lacks taurine.
Cat food has more protein and fat in it.
Some dog owners think their dogs should eat tons of protein anyway.
The concern would be if your dog is overweight or had liver or kidneys problems.
Your vet probably will tell you not to do this because they just don't know any better. If you are really interested, you could maybe talk to a nutritionist to see if there is a way of doing it safely.
